WY812 and friends

This is the first of batch of images associated with Staithes having a 'ropy' theme - you can determine the interpretation of 'ropy' yourselves!! Staithes is a small village on the North Yorkshire coast that used to be a fishing village and home to the group of Victorian artists known as the 'Staithes Group'. Now it is mainly a holiday resort with a handful of part-time fishermen. It does have a decent art gallery now which is worth a visit. It's always worth a visit with the camera - plenty of pics to be had without too much hard work (that's why I go).

Have a good weekend, David.
