The smallest church in England?
St Andrew's Old Church, Upleatham just a few miles away from my home. At just 6metres x 4 metres it has the reputation of being the smallest church in England (but probably isn't). Earliest known records of a church here date from 12th century although discovery of 9th century stone cross fragments suggest people have probably worshipped at this place since long before the Norman Conquest.
