Into the light, Staithes
Staithes is built into the side of a very steep hill so you are always going up - or down. The only level place is down on the harbour wall or the breakwaters protecting the village from the regular 'attacks' of the North Sea. There are little series of steps and slopes all over the place connecting the few streets and alleyways cutting through the village.
